WAITING GAME Fuming Corriedale fans gutted over ‘missing’ episode on ITVX ahead of historic crossover event
The historical episode, which sees the first ever Coronation Street and Emmerdale crossover, is just hours away – but some fans can’t wait.

The two soaps are set to collide with a massive car pile-up threatening the lives of dozens of characters from both soaps.
It’s already been confirmed that more than one character is set to die in the special episode.
Fans are usually able to watch each episode of Corrie and Emmerdale in the morning on ITVX, ahead of them airing in the evening on ITV.
However, this isn’t the case for Corriedale, and viewers will instead have to wait for the special episode to be screened tonight.

Fans have been left fuming by this, and one said on social media: “Is it going on YouTube today? I’m on holiday so can’t see it on ITVX!”
While another added: “Soo no uploads on YouTube for inter fans?”
This one vented: “Why isn’t Corriedale on ITVX yet???”
A fourth commented: “Will it be on ITVX after?”
The disgruntled viewers will instead have to wait until 8pm to watch the one-hour Corriedale episode.
It will follow a regular episode of Emmerdale which will air at 7pm, and a 30 minute edition of Corrie.

Huge Emmerdale character KILLED OFF ahead of Corriedale crossover in shock twist
Love Island All Stars 2026 Teaser Trailer
The special marks the launch of ITV’s new soap ‘power hour’ with both shows airing five 30-minute episodes a week from Tuesday onwards.
Emmerdale will make a permanent move to 8pm, while Coronation Street will follow at 8.30pm each night.
It means the shows will have one less episode a week compared to their current output.
EXPLOSIVE PLOT
Shot on location in October, Corriedale promises an explosive plot which will change both soaps forever.
Across the episode, multiple plotlines are set to come to a head as a drunken Carl from Corrie takes off from Debbie’s wedding with the bride in the car.
In between Hotton and Weatherfield, a massive car crash will leave several lives in the balance, especially when a minibus carrying wedding guests – including David, pregnant Shona, Steve, and Tracy heads towards the crash with Billy at the wheel.
Elsewhere, the long-standing love triangle between Emmerdale’s Aaron, Robert, and the vengeful John is set to reach a head.
And Cain and Moira’s simple trip to take Jacob and Sarah to the airport takes a turn.

BEHIND-THE-SCENES OF CORRIEDALE
We know that one person will die, but judging by the cast behind-the-scenes pictures it looks like even those who survive will suffer plenty of injuries.
Released yesterday, the cast are seen filming at night time and are wrapped up in warm blue and red dry robes with bloodied faces, but beaming for the cameras in between scenes.
The pictures include Natalie Robb, who plays Moira Dingle on Emmerdale, cuddled up to Corrie’s Carla Connor actress Alison King in one shot.
In another she joins co-star Danny Miller (Aaron Dingle) looks happy and relaxed next to Weatherfield’s Jack P Shephard (David Platt) and Julia Goulding (Shona Platt).
