VIEWERS IN SHOCK!!! EastEnder fans ‘floored’ after realising Jonno star’s role in iconic 90s movie
EastEnders’ Callum Highway, portrayed by Tony Clay, had a shocking encounter from his past on Tuesday evening (9th September) when he came face-to-face with his estranged father, Jonno, in Walford.
The brash character, played by Richard Graham, was last seen in Albert Square five years ago. He disowned Callum after he came out as gay and announced his relationship with future husband, Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden).
Jonno’s harsh treatment of his son didn’t sit well with the Mitchells, leading to a protective Phil (Steve McFadden), punching him and forcing him to leave Walford.
However, the father-son duo were reunited during the latest visit to the Square when Jonno was caught mistreating Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) at The Albert.

Callum found himself having to arrest his own father for causing trouble but struggled to accept the truth, not wanting to believe his dad could abuse a woman in such a way, reports Plymouth Live.
In upcoming episodes, Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) offers Jonno legal advice and is given the task of determining if he is truly innocent.
Johnny later confides in Callum that he had a sincere conversation with his dad and reveals Jonno genuinely wants to meet with him.
Showing signs of change, Jonno confirms his desire to mend fences with Callum, but tragedy looms for the Highway family.

Despite the return of the problematic character to Walford, some EastEnders fans were left distracted after realising Jonno star Richard Graham featured in the iconic film Titanic.
The actor portrayed Quartermaster George T Rowe in the iconic 1997 film, which also starred Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet.
One fan took to social media, writing: “Not me only NOW spotting Jonno Highway as *that* Quartermaster on #Titanic on #Channel4 #Ballum.”

Another viewer noted: “He was on My Family and Titanic”, while a third chimed in: “He’s the bloke from Titanic.”
“He can smell ice, you know #EastEnders,” one viewer quipped.
“I watched Titanic again shortly after first watching EE during the Jonno episodes. When I saw that guy, I said ‘woah!'”, and immediately googled the actor LOL!”, another fan shared.
