‘THANK GOODNESS’ EastEnders legend forced to deny he’s DEAD saying ‘I’m alive and well and will be on set first thing tomorrow’
FANS were left devastated when rumours swirled online that an EastEnders legend had died.
But now the star has been forced to deny he is dead saying “I’m alive and well and will be on set first thing tomorrow”.
Upsetting claims that Rudolph Walker, who plays the role of Patrick Trueman in EastEnders, have swirled online this week.
Fans were left devastated by the fake news, with some saying they were in tears.
But now Rudolph has spoken out and confirmed that he is very much alive.
Taking to X, Rudolph penned: “I have become aware that there is fake news being circulated regarding my death.

“Please be assured that i am alive & well and will be on set at EastEnders first thing tomorrow.
“Thank you for sharing this real news!!”
Replying to Rudolph’s tweet, one person said: “Saw this and was absolutely devastated, glad it is untrue.”
“These false stories are absolutely disgusting Rudolph, it’s all over fb, so glad your alive and well,” said a second.
“Phew, my daughter and I were in tears 10 minutes ago!! Stay well Sir,” penned a third.
“Almost had a heart attack when I read those reports last night. Glad you are safe and well Rudolph,” added a fourth.

A fifth person then said: “Omg why would people start such a horrible rumour.”
While a sixth wrote: “Glad you’re alive and well!”
“Oh thank goodness xx,” said a seventh.
And an eighth penned: Thank you for this, and we’re all glad you’re well.”
Rudolph has starred in the BBC One soap as the beloved Patrick Trueman since 2001.
The actor didn’t find fame in EastEnders though, and was already a well-established actor.
Other than being known for playing Patrick, he is also best known for his roles as Bill Reynolds in Love Thy Neighbour and Constable Frank Gladstone in The Thin Blue Line.

Rudolph celebrated his 86th birthday back in September, and still continues to thrill fans with his on-screen appearances as Patrick.
Back in the summer, his character was rushed to hospital after being found unconscious after a fall.
