Erin Bates Shares Bittersweet Health Update

It should have been a beautiful moment, welcoming baby number seven, but things went awry for Erin Bates Paine. She ended up in septic shock shortly after her son, Henry, entered the world. Her husband, Chad Paine, consistently gave followers updates on her condition and even shared photos. Unfortunately, it was a very scary time despite his begging for prayers. He did note that they were working, and the Bringing Up Bates family shared Chad’s update. Now, things seem to be much better than they were before, and Erin is sharing an update of her own.

Obviously, fans and followers have been waiting for her to be okay enough to speak up and out. Erin shared a photo of herself, Chad, and Henry in a wheelchair. Chad is wheeling the two patients out, and she is donning pink pajamas, slippers, and a light bathrobe. Her hair is clipped half back in a pink claw clip, and she is staring down at Henry. In the caption, she noted how excited she was to head home to her babies. However, many questions are still unanswered, and her right leg is not functioning. Despite this, she and Chad are just grateful for what they have.

The Bringing Up Bates alum was very appreciative of all of the prayers that were sent in her direction. Erin and her family believed that they worked wonders, and her optimistic outlook will carry her far. Her parents and husband were very worried that she would not get better, but she has defied the odds.
