EASTENDERS actor Max Bowden has grown closer to another co-star after his recent split – and this time she’s a very familiar soap actress herself.

The actor – who plays Ben Mitchell in the BBC soap – has become close to former Coronation Street star Katie McGlynn while co-starring in touring play Murder At Midnight.

A source revealed: “Max and Katie have been around each other for years.

“They were in the soap world for so long where everyone knows each other.

“They’ve got loads in common and both have found themselves single at the same time as doing the tour.

“They get on well and have been spending time together – it’s clear they’ve got chemistry. Who knows what the future holds?”

It wouldn’t be Max’s first burgeoning relationship with a co-star to make headlines.

Before splitting with his last girlfriend Tori Allen-Martin – who he met during play Midnight Cowboy – he was spotted with a string of co-stars.

Max famously dated his EastEnders co-star Shona McGarty, 33, before moving on with Danielle Harold, 32, who he secretly courted for more than a year before they split.

It was recently revealed that the couple were no longer on speaking terms and had unfollowed each other on Instagram.

A TV insider previously said: “Max just can’t help himself when it comes to his co-stars.

“He has this energetic charm that the ladies seem to love.”

Meanwhile earlier this year Katie split from former Towie star Ricky Ryament after finding it difficult to maintain a long-distance relationship with the actress living in Manchester and Ricky in Essex.
