‘Sister Wives’ Star Meri Brown Reveals Things Have Progressed With Man She Met While Speed Dating
Meri Brown is smitten with a new man.
In a preview for the upcoming episode of Sister Wives obtained by Entertainment Tonight, the reality TV personality, 54, has her new flame, Ron — whom she met at a speed-dating event in an episode from earlier this season — join her at a fundraising event.
“I’m glad Ron came,” Meri told cameras. “I think it’s cute that he’s just like, ‘Oh, what can I do to help?’ And he’s just helping.”
Meri further reflected on the event in her confessional sharing, “It was super fun, it was a really good day — and Ron came, and that was super fun too.”
The TLC star also admitted she “loved being able to see how he interacts” within her “world,” including around her friends, noting “he fits.”
Luckily, Ron got the stamp of approval from Meri’s friend Jenn Sullivan, too.
“I think that Ron is a really nice guy,” Sullivan remarked. “As soon as Meri had mentioned that we were doing this, he’s like, ‘I’m down, I’ll be there,’ and I just love that.”
“I thought he was a really nice guy when I first met him at speed dating,” she added. “And I thought, ‘You know what, they would get along really well’ — and they tend to, so it worked out really well.”
Ron, for his part, gushed over Meri, describing her as “really genuine” and “a great person.”
“You know it’s different, dating in your 50s. I’ve been on a lot of dates the last couple years, but I love it when you meet someone who’s genuine and very nice and easy to talk to,” he stated. “With Meri, just her inviting me down here made me feel great, and she’s been great.”
Meri, of course, was previously married to Kody Brown. The pair tied the knot in 1990 and divorced in 2014, so he could legally marry his current wife, Robyn Brown. Meri then left Kody, 56, in 2023.
