Fans may remember how Meri met a guy named Ron during the speed dating event. They instantly connected, but she revealed that they hadn’t reached out to each other after the event. However, it seems there has been some progress. In the most recent episode, Meri disclosed that she has spoken with Ron a couple of times but refused to give any further information. She also said that he is a ‘nice guy.’ Meri also told her best friend, Jenn, that she thinks dating apps are stupid.

Robyn added that she could never imagine using an app to date someone. Meanwhile, Kody agreed that such apps don’t allow a person to know someone’s real essence. Robyn also mentioned that she has been speaking with a few people on the app. Later, both friends came across a guy they both agreed had good hair. Meri added how important it is for a man’s hair not to be crazy, and mid-sentence, she realized she was referring to her ex.

Elsewhere in the episode, Kody asked his younger brother, Michael, to help with the move. While the family moved boxes, Kody bragged about his body odor. He went straight to his wife so she could smell it, while his brother stood there feeling a bit uncomfortable. Furthermore, Kody said that he and his wife, Robyn, have become “battle buddies, not lovers.”

On the other hand, Robyn revealed that she feels uncomfortable showing affection for Kody in front of others. She blamed it on plural marriage and its culture of limited affection. She said she has been trying to show more affection in front of others. Later in the episode, Christine learned that her only son, Paedon, is moving to the Tar Heel State.

He explained that he decided because he wanted to be close to Janelle, his sister, and the kids. Christine was clearly not happy about her son’s decision. She also told her husband that she feels like a bad mom. Furthermore, she mentioned that when she and Janelle were discussing moving, Janelle said she would have all the grandkids with her. Christine admitted that it made her really angry, and she felt like slapping her former sister wife.

Christine also admitted that she and Janelle have been a little distant. She blamed it on business matters and physical distance. In the same episode, Kody said he was happy that Christine found her soulmate. Meanwhile, Janelle, Maddie, and Caleb were shown preparing for Christmas.
