SHOCKING TWIST!!! Death trauma revealed in Coronation Street funeral twist

Becky Swain (Amy Cudden) receives a delivery in upcoming Coronation Street episodes. Somewhat fittingly for a person who is technically supposed to be dead, it’s a funeral wreath.
But considering she’s not actually dead and the wreath bears the message ‘Rest in Peace – Again!’ it’s actually quite threatening.
But who would send such a thing? Carla Connor (Alison King) has obvious reasons for wanting her love rival to be anywhere but Weatherfield, but death threats aren’t exactly her style.
Becky goes straight to see Costello (Daon Broni) and tells him about the wreath. She says that whoever sent it is serious about wanting her dead, and she’s going to get to the bottom of it.
It’s not long before we find out who Becky’s main suspect is – and it’s Costello himself.

It recently transpired that Costello had helped Becky to fake her own death when the gangsters she was working undercover to catch realised what she was doing.
So Becky’s return has been deeply uncomfortable for him, as it could jeopardise his own career. He’s made it very clear that he wants Becky to go back to Spain and be ‘dead’ again as soon as possible. He’s also threatened her that if she doesn’t do this voluntarily he’ll have her killed – like he did to Tia Wardley.
‘Becky won’t leave so Costello pulls out the big guns and says, “Just so you know, if you think Tia Wardley died a natural death, she didn’t. I had to have her killed, and I’ll do the same to you unless you sod off back to Spain and let the situation be,”’ Daon Broni told us. ‘It’s a threat that he pulls out of the bag to try and get Becky to get out of town.’

Becky proves that she’s as willing as Costello is to play dirty when she heads for the precinct and starts taking photos of some teenage girls. Costello is shocked to open a message and see a picture of his own daughter – and he realises it’s a thinly-veiled threat from Becky.
He then takes a call from her, which is overheard by Kit Green (Jacob Roberts). This means that when Costello subsequently fails to show up for work, Kit is suspicious and starts to wonder whether Becky might have had a hand in his disappearance.
