Coronation Street‘s scheming newcomer Megan Walsh is thrown into panic next week, after Bertie Osbourne finds a pregnancy test in her handbag. Is she expecting Will Driscoll’s baby?

Having been invited to Bertie’s seventh birthday party, Megan, Kirk Sutherland and Alya Nazir celebrate the big day with Daniel Osbourne and his little boy. Surrounded by balloons and bunting, Alya asks Bertie to rummage in her bag to find the candles for his cake, but the young’un picks up Megan’s bag instead – then pulls out a pregnancy test for all to see…

“Just take a look at Daniel’s face – he truly can’t believe his eyes,” our Corrie source says. “Megan hasn’t given him any indication that she could be pregnant, not to mention that he hasn’t known her for long at all! It’s down to Megan to explain – but is it even Daniel’s baby?”

The week kicks off with Daniel and Megan carrying birthday cake and presents for Bertie into No.1, as jealous Will watches on from a distance. He’s raging that Megan is still keeping up the pretence of seeing Daniel, especially since Will and Megan began sleeping together on his 16^th birthday…

Inside the Barlow house, Daniel tells Megan that he’s had to put Will in detention, given his recent behaviour. Daniel then suggests to Megan that she should come along to Bertie’s party the next day, which leaves her feeling delighted.

In the lead-up to the bash, Megan hurries out of the shop, having stashed an item away in her handbag. However, she’s stopped in her tracks by Will, who furiously demands to know whether his so-called girlfriend stayed over at Daniel’s for the night.

Eventually, Megan makes it to Bertie’s birthday party, where she is exposed for carrying the pregnancy test. But how will Daniel react to the bombshell?

Later in the week, Megan is comforted by Leanne Battersby and Eva Price, who spot her crying her eyes out in Victoria Garden. Will Megan give up the real reason that she’s so overwhelmed with emotion?

Not long afterwards, Megan meets up with Daniel in the Bistro. There, Daniel thanks Megan for dropping Bertie off at school, then admits that he is falling for her.

With Megan’s pregnancy test still a mystery, will it turn out that she is carrying Will or Daniel’s baby? And if so, for how long can Megan keep her depraved “relationship” with Will behind closed doors?
