SHOCKING TRUTH REVEALED!! Coronation Street confirms who’s been tormenting Hope Dobbs in early ITVX episode
Coronation Street resolves the mystery of Hope Dobbs’s bullying ordeal tonight – and the culprit is close to home. Hope’s dad Tyrone makes the worrying discovery after a sudden slip-up from his younger daughter Ruby. Will this cause chaos for the Dobbs clan when they should be pulling together?
Tonight’s episode kicks off on a bad note for the family, as Ruby stresses out Tyrone and Fiz with complaints over her mobile phone. Branding the device “cringey and clapped”, Ruby asks for a replacement and is visibly frustrated when Tyrone claims they can’t afford it.

Later on, Hope returns home from school and confides in Tyrone about another nasty message she has received from her unknown tormentor. Someone has been bombarding Hope with abuse for weeks now – with Gary Windass and Izzy Armstrong’s son Jake the only suspect so far.
Tyrone notices that the latest text cruelly mocks Hope’s clothes as “cringey and clapped” – exactly the words that Ruby used to describe her phone earlier.

With the disturbing truth dawning on him, Tyrone decides that it’s time to confront his youngest daughter…
“That’s bad enough to do to a stranger – but to your own sister?” Tyrone asks.
Dredging up Hope’s past issues and the dark legacy of her biological father John Stape, Ruby replies: “She gets everything. Just because her dad was a freak. Poor Hope – no-one ever says no.”
Tyrone takes pity on Ruby when she complains about feeling sidelined in comparison to her troublesome sister, who’s regularly been at the centre of drama in recent years.

When Ruby promises to stop sending the nasty texts, Tyrone optimistically suggests they can draw a line under it without Hope or Fiz ever having to know.
However, it’s not long before another turn of events tests Tyrone’s controversial decision – as fans can see now, with the episode streaming early on ITVX and YouTube.
Spoilers for next week’s episodes have revealed that Hope and Ruby will soon be at each other’s throats.
This ultimately pushes Fiz to breaking point, leading to an uncharacteristic angry outburst at work. Is the pressure of dealing with the girls, and the fallout from Tyrone’s recent accident, taking its toll?
