EastEnders has confirmed that Gina Knight and newcomer Jasmine Fisher are getting a storyline together next week, as a night out is set to take a sinister turn. Currently, Gina is upset that her new boyfriend Harry Mitchell is in Cardiff hitting on other girls (in reality, we know that he’s been locked up by Okie and the drug gang and forced to lie to her over the phone). Jasmine, meanwhile, is in the early flirting stages with Oscar Branning.

Next week will see Jasmine try and offer Gina some emotional support while working at The Albert.

Soon enough, the conversation turns to her boss Cindy Beale, and Jasmine once again tries to find out more gossip about her. However, Oscar interrupts them again in an attempt to impress Jasmine… and this time she’s fed up with it.

She snaps at him and he storms off. Later on, he finally gets his ankle tag removed, but after a conversation with Lauren, it’s clear the mood is not celebratory.

Meanwhile, new friends Gina and Jasmine decide to go for a drink elsewhere, but their night takes a worrying turn. What could it be? You’ll have to tune in next week to find out.

“Gina and Jasmine are both having serious boy trouble,” says our insider. “Jasmine comforts Gina over her nightmare with Harry, but it seems she may have an ulterior motive for making a new friend.

“The new mates head out for a drink away from The Albert, but their night out pans out in a way that neither of them were expecting…”

 

Since Jasmine was introduced, she’s been surrounded by mystery. She was insistent at getting a job at the bar Cindy runs and has taken a keen interest in learning about her past more than once.

She also briefly mentioned that she wants to get away from her family, and has played coy when Elaine has asked for her ID and documentation for work purposes.
