During another sinister visit to Aaron’s flat, Kev reminds him: “I warned you – if you try and ruin my marriage, I’ll ruin you. Do you not think I was serious?

“Getting your mate to do what you won’t do yourself? Pathetic.”

He adds: “It must be your lucky day, because I don’t give second chances.

“But I swear to God, if you come after me and Robert again, and that luck will run out. Have I made myself clear?”

Earlier this month, Robert urged Aaron to deal with Kev’s presence in the village for the short time he has left.

As Kev is terminally ill, Robert is looking forward to receiving a £250,000 inheritance payment once his husband dies – which would set him and Aaron up for a stable future together in the long-run.

Chris Coghill, who plays Kev, recently said: “Kev is unhinged. There are genuine feelings there [for Robert], but they’re not quite what they should be.

“He’s an incredibly dangerous person. Kev wouldn’t have any qualms about physically attacking anybody, apart from possibly Robert.

“One day I can be a psychopath and the next day I’m doing something quite touching like baking cakes.”
