EastEnders has aired a heartbreaking update about Sharon Watts, as she discovers the shocking news about Zoe’s adopted child. She takes drastic action as a result, and it’s the last we’ll see her in Walford for a while.

It was recently revealed that Zoe had lied to Sharon about her son’s paternity, and that her late husband Dennis Rickman isn’t actually the father.

Vicki stormed out of the pub in today’s episode in the aftermath of this revelation, while Ian stayed behind and warned Kat that Zoe would need to give Sharon the money back.

Back at home, Vicki phoned Sharon to give her this devastating update, and she then explained to Zack that she hadn’t taken the news well.

“She won’t come back,” she said. “I seriously think this has tipped her over the edge. She is in bits. It is like Denny has died all over again.”

Vicki said that Sharon was headed to Florida to stay with her mum, and she had been tasked with packing a bag for Albie and taking her to the airport the next morning.

With Sharon having left Walford again, Vicki was upset that Zoe had ripped her family apart again – and she made a promise that she wouldn’t let her get away with this.

Meanwhile, relations between Zoe and Kat fell apart even further as Zoe raged at her mum for exposing her secret.

After a blazing row about the past, Kat gave Zoe an ultimatum, demanding that she moves out of the pub unless she makes amends for her actions.

Zoe pledged to leave and prepared to say goodbye but was horrified when she found that someone had defaced a photo of her and Kat and put fake blood on her bed.

While Zoe accused Kat of being the culprit, she denied having anything to do with this sinister act. So, who is responsible – Zoe herself, or someone else?
