The 34-year-old TV star – who was also a contestant on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing in 2015 – will soon be seen on stage at Norwich Theatre. The former Corrie star will take on a role in a Christmas pantomime adaptation of Cinderella.

An official poster for the upcoming performances, which begin on 5 December, show the actress in a theatrical outfit and posing alongside an array of co-stars – including two drag performers. And the star has already been promoting the new production, with weeks to go before curtain up.

Norwich Theatre is promoting their 2025 panto

An official statement on the Norwich Theatre Instagram page states: There are three months to go until panto!

“Start, or continue, a Christmas tradition with our sparkling production of Cinderella! Remember that you can spread the cost of tickets with our Pay in Instalments scheme.”

And a short video clip on the theatre’s official Instagram page shows Georgia in costume excitedly declaring: “Three months to go until Cinderella is at Norwich Theatre Royal.”

The news has already got fans excited for the festive countdown, with one writing in response to the post featuring Georgia: “Omg so excited” alongside a string of red heart emojis. While another simply commented: “Yay”.

The theatre shared the news of the upcoming show earlier in the week. A press release revealed: “Norwich Theatre is one of the few theatres in the country that writes and produces its own pantomime, which this year is Cinderella.

“Whilst there have been many versions of Cinderella pass through the doors of Norwich Theatre, there has never been a Cinderella quite like this. “

Stephen Crocker, Chief Executive and Creative Director of Norwich Theatre, added: “Panto is at the heart of Christmas for so many families, and this event lets that magic spill out of the theatre and into a wonderful woodland adventure.

“We are absolutely delighted to be partnering with ROARR! on Festive Forest Fables. This illuminated Cinderella fairytale is a bold and magical new venture for Norwich Theatre Beyond, which sees theatre take place in unconventional spaces. It’s an exciting opportunity to create unforgettable experiences for audiences in the heart of Norfolk and to share theatre in ways that reach beyond our stages.”

Tickets are already up for grabs ranging from £16.95 – £18.95, with official performances due to run from December 5 to 23 – while early bird shows will take over the stage at the end of November.

Georgia’s return to acting work comes after reports in June suggested her marriage to musician Kris Evans is over after two years. Eyebrows were raised when she abruptly erased all trace of him from her social media channels and was spotted out and about without her wedding ring on.

The couple are yet to publicly address the speculation that the marriage is over. The Mirror has contacted a representative of Georgia for comment.

Things got worse for the star when her beauty business burned down in a fire in June. She revealed online at the time: “Now as some of you may know I’ve been a nail technician now for the past 4 years alongside my acting.

“Unfortunately my beautiful little studio was affected by a huge fire within the storage world unit in Middleton last night. Not only has my business burnt down, but so has many other peoples. Along with peoples most loved possessions. My heart goes out to them all.”
