Producer Kate Brooks previously teased the storyline as a “thriller-esque” arc that would impact every corner of the Weatherfield community throughout the spring.
Fans took to social media platforms to express their shock.
One fan wrote: “Huh, why is Monday’s episode up early on YouTube? Does anyone know why?”
“Someone is having a very unlucky Friday the 13th at Corrie and is probably now getting the sack,” noted a second.
“I thought it was odd! Didn’t stop me watching though,” admitted a third.
“It was an accident I presume because it’s been taken down now. I’m still in the middle of watching it now so if you want me to tell you what happens then I can,” wrote one on-the-ball fan.
One delighted fan urged: “Omg someone tell me everything plz! Do not care about spoilers, I need to know.”
Another shared the sneaky news: “I missed it, but a channel on YouTube has the Carla and Lisa parts of Monday’s.”
A fan revealed: “So it’s a whodunnit and a who’d they do it to?”
One gutted viewer remarked: “Damage is already done (and is already round here re the flashforward and the reveal date) and it would be their flashforward ep that gets leaked, wouldn’t it?”
Vicky’s romance with Carla and the reveal that her former wife Becky was secretly still alive have been a major plot throughout the soap this year.
Soap star Ashley Campbell is set to return to the cobbles three years after his last appearance on the show.
The actor will be back on our screens next week for a brand new storyline.
Ashley played DC Wiley in 2021, but has not been seen on screen since 2023.
His character was part of the team investigating Max Turner (Paddy Bever) for his involvement in the far right extremism storyline.
