EastEnders has revealed some major new Jasmine Fisher suspicions as the mystery plot surrounding the new character thickens. The newcomer, played by Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness, was recently introduced to the soap after she took a job at The Prince Albert.

In scenes set to air next week, following Lauren’s advice, Oscar Branning decides to find out what Jasmine is hiding and questions her at The Albert.

While not much is known about the mysterious character, viewers know that the soap has been dropping clues about her and what her intentions are.

In this week’s scenes, Nigel, who has young on-set dementia, took his car for a spin. When Nigel got distracted, he lost control of the car, running over Jasmine as she left The Albert.

While Nigel tried to move an injured Jasmine, she angrily said: “I can’t die like this. She’s ruined everything. She needs to pay for what she did.”

Julie tried to take the blame for the crash, but Nigel remembered that he was the one driving and he later headed to the hospital to ask Jasmine about her suspicious remarks.

Meanwhile, Oscar Branning, who is romantically involved with Jasmine, quizzed Jasmine about who had sent her a fruit basket.

Jasmine said it was her mum who sent the gift, explaining that she leads a busy life abroad, but when Oscar left the room it became obvious that Jasmine was lying and the basket was from a mystery employer.

“Rest up and get well soon. Need you back on top form,” read the card attached to the basket.
