Days of our Lives gave us a lot to talk about this week, so let’s get to it. Here’s a look at key moments from September 1-5, 2025.
Brady Misses The Mark
There’s no question that Brady (Eric Martsolf) is onto something with his concerns that Sophia (Rachel Boyd) isn’t being truthful about the adoption. However, Brady did miss a pivotal point that could have busted the case wide open.
When Steve (Stephen Nichols) mentioned Baby Tesoro being left at the fire station, Brady looked like he was about to connect the dots, but he didn’t. Instead, Brady blew off the notion because of the timeline, despite knowing Sophia hasn’t been honest about the adoption from the jump.
Tony’s Sinister Smile
Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) finally got the goods on Xander (Paul Telfer) and Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier)Â that will allow her and Tony (Thaao Penghlis) to take back DiMera Enterprises. Things went awry, though, after Gabi presented her findings to Tony.
Instead of hatching a plan to expose Philip and Xander, Tony revealed they would sit on the evidence for now. The smile on Tony’s face spoke volumes. It’s a signature and sinister DiMera look that lets fans know Tony is up to no good and Gabi just might be collateral damage.
Kristen Faces The Music
Belle (Martha Madison), Johnny (Carson Boatman), and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) gathered to hear her sentencing. After words of remorse and worry about Rachel (Alice Halsey) from the three of them, signs pointed to Kristen being let off easy.
But that all changed when Brady showed up to demand the book be thrown at Kristen, who nearly blurted out the truth. It was a tense and emotional few scenes. Ultimately, the judge found a middle ground, and Kristen is off to Statesville for now.
Jack’s Olive Branch To Gwen
The return of Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) is always a treat for DOOL fans. This time, we saw Jack interact with his estranged daughter, Gwen (Emily O’Brien).
Jack attempted to mend that rift by making it clear to Gwen that he doesn’t hate her and thinks she cares about their family. For a hot second, it seemed like Gwen would let her guard down. In true Gwen fashion, though, she got riled up and stormed off, but at least Jack tried.
There were a couple of honorable mentions of the week, like Chad (Billy Flynn) and Cat’s (AnnaLynne McCord) first real kiss, and Xander finding the bug Gabi planted with Philip looking on.
What was your favorite DOOL moment of the week?
