Emmerdale reveals when Charity will finally be caught out

Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw has teased when Charity Dingle will be caught out by her own huge web of lies, which is sure to be some incredibly explosive drama after months of tense build-up.

Last year, Charity agreed to serve as a surrogate for her granddaughter Sarah and her husband Jacob Gallagher after telling her own husband Mackenzie Boyd that she didn’t want to have any more kids while he really did.

However, it turns out that the baby is actually Ross Barton’s after he and Charity secretly hooked up.

On last night’s Corriedale, Mack confronted Charity about the baby after learning that she isn’t actually carrying Sarah and Jacob’s child. While she admitted that was a possibility, she didn’t tell him the truth about Ross being the dad.

While the huge crash and the tragedy of the fallout interrupted Mackenzie’s plan to force Charity to tell Sarah and Jacob the truth, the not-surrogacy and the baby’s actual father look like they will both be revealed soon.

“The truth surrounding Charity’s pregnancy is set to blow wide open,” Shaw said.

“Mackenzie mistakenly believes he could be the baby’s father, but the secret that Ross is the real father is still under wraps. With the baby due in spring, the birth may be the event that finally exposes all of Charity’s secrets…”

Further drama has been confirmed for the Dingle family this week, as Aaron looks set to marry Robert Sugden once again, although it might be difficult getting the divorce papers from John, who was killed in the woods.

Meanwhile, Cain was shot by accident during a scuffle with John, and was told in the hospital that he has cancer. How will Cain, and his strained relationship with Moira, cope?
