Emmerdale fans ‘solve’ who Graham was on the phone to in Ray murder twist
Emmerdale fans think it’s no coincidence that Ray Walters’ death aired the same day as Graham Foster returned to the ITV soap in Corriedale, years after his own brutal demise
Viewers of Emmerdale think they have figured out Graham Foster’s return plot on the ITV soap, after his Corriedale appearance.
The character made a shock comeback to soap land on Monday evening, during Emmerdale’s crossover with Coronation Street. We saw him driving a van, with a young girl named Jodie tied up in the back.
His identity was revealed when he visited Joe Tate at the hospital, while he didn’t speak with Joe. After all, everyone thinks he’s dead after he was murdered on the soap in 2020 by Pierce Harris.

But Graham is very much alive, with questions to be answered. One may may answered by fans though, after speculation began about the phone call Graham made at the hospital.
He told someone that he had to do something, while he appeared to talk about missing Jodie too. But given his ex Rhona Goskirk also had a cryptic call during Monday’s Emmerdale, fans now think it’s linked.
Rhona was acting weird after the shocking murder of Ray Walters. Monday’s episode kicked off with a mystery body being dragged across the floor, soon revealed to be Ray.
There was initially no inkling as to what had happened and by whom. Rhona called someone on her phone and said “have you done it”, teasing she could be the killer or knows who did it, while Ray’s murder is not yet public.
Now, fans are wondering if Graham was the person she called, and somehow she might know his true fate. They questioned if she got Graham to kill Ray.
One fan posted: “Maybe Rhona was on the phone to Graham who she knew was still alive & asked him to kill Ray!!” Another said: “I like this theory,” as a third added: “So, was Rhona on the phone to Graham and it was him that’s done Ray in?”
Another fan agreed: “Sooo was it Graham that Rhona was on the phone with and had she asked him to kill Ray?” A further reply read: “Ooh gosh yes!! But how did she know Graham was still alive?”
Another theory was that he was speaking to Kim Tate, but another fan posted: “Right this might make no sense but maybe Rhona knew Graham actually survived & that’s who she was making the phone call too earlier. Graham was the one who killed Ray???”
It comes as fans guessed the identity of mystery Jodie. The camera panned from Jodie’s wrist tattoo to Corrie’s Shona Platt’s tattoo on her back, before she was seen with David at the hospital. The tattoos both looked very similar as well – so who is she?
One fan guessed: “I think she’ll be related to shona? They seemed to have matching tattoos?” Another agreed: “Jodie is gonna be shona’s sister isn’t she?” as a third said: “Jodie is related to Shona?” Another asked: “Wait who’s that girl with the tattoo like Shona’s? Has she got a sister?”
