DOOL The Rinse September 8: How Jen and Jack Can Keep Chad From Cat 😲 Jennifer and Jack are ready to protect their family at all costs! After learning shocking news about Cat, they’re determined to keep her far away from their grandchildren. 👀 But just how far will they go to make sure Chad’s love life doesn’t interfere with the kids on DOOL?

On the September 8 episode of Days of our Lives, Jennifer and Jack were not at all pleased to learn from Thomas that their dad hung out and played mini-golf with Cat. They are in no mood to forgive the woman who pretended to be their dead daughter – or her brother, who fooled them into believing it, and oh, also planned to kill Chad. How far will they go to make sure Cat is never a part of their grandchildren’s lives?

The Forward Assault

The most obvious thing for Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and Jack (Matthew Ashfold) to do would be to sue Chad (Billy Flynn) for custody of Thomas (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte, and then to take them away from Salem and back with them to Boston.

Jack, Jennifer, Chad, Thomas, Charlotte, and Cat are featured in the Monday, September 8 episode of Days of our Lives.

But they don’t have much of a legal leg to stand on there. Chad is a good dad. Heck, he’s one of the best parents in town (yes, we’re looking at you, Kristen [Stacy Haiduk], and you, EJ, and you, Paulina [Jackée Harry], so you see our point).

The only thing Jen and Jack can accuse Chad of is dating a woman with a criminal past. They’d have to make the argument that Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) is a danger to the kids. Which would be pretty hard to do since, formally, she hasn’t been charged with anything.

Going Around the Side

Or Jen and Jack could be more devious. They know they can’t take the kids away from Chad by force. But what if Thomas and Charlotte want to go? Jennifer told Jack she was so happy her grandchildren didn’t know what Cat had done. But what if they were to find out?

Jennifer and Jack can tell Thomas and Charlotte about how Cat and her brother wanted to kill Daddy. If that’s not enough to make the kids want to live with Grandma and Grandpa, it should definitely be enough for them to tell Chad they don’t want Cat around. Which will accomplish Jennifer and Jack’s goals without needing to go to court.
