On the one hand, Theo thinks he’s the smartest person in any room. On the other hand, if anyone challenges him, he is always quick to say, mention that he’s neurodivergent. As a result, everybody treats him with kid gloves.

And Theo ends up under the mistaken impression that they’re treating him with respect. They’re not. The only person who treats him like everybody else — which is what Theo claims he wants — is Gabi, who isn’t afraid to let him have it when he’s wrong. Because Theo is wrong a lot.
