Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) invited Xander (Paul Telfer, who shared his real-life inspiration) to move back in with her and Victoria as they continue to work on their marriage with Marlena (Deidre Hall). The move came about because Sarah finally believes that Xander didn’t beat up Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier). (Also, because they had great sex during the blackout. But mostly that whole she trusts him now thing.)
But, oops, Xander is finally ready to confess. And Sarah is ready to make him. Is this back to square one for the couple? Or even further back?
Out of the Past

Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) is busy planning Stephanie’s (Abigail Klein) book launch, assuming Meryl Streep will want to pop in because the event is just that important. But even though he’s happy with the development, he’s still furious with Jeremy (Michael Roark) for — he thinks — being the one to tell Leo (Greg Rikaart) that Stephanie is Anastasia Sands. And also for existing.
Because of what he did to Stephanie in the past. But also for that whole existing thing. So even though Stephanie told Alex that beating up Jeremy isn’t worth it, Alex still really, really wants to.
Baby, Where Did Our Live Go?
Amy (Shi Ne Nielson) wasn’t thrilled with the idea of Leo and Javi (Al Calderon) fostering Tesoro even before she knew he was Sophia’s (Rachel Boyd) child. Now that she knows the firehouse baby is her grandson, she really hates it. But, guess what? She has no say in the matter. Sophia — who is over 18 — surrendered the baby for adoption. The waiting period has passed. He’s a ward of the state.
Sure, Amy can challenge for custody. But is that really a good idea now that she knows the lengths her daughter went to NOT be a mother? In any case, as usual, Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Johnny (Billy Flynn) fear that this will be yet another obstacle in their quest to adopt the last baby available for adoption in America. (In the time this has been going on, they could have hired a surrogate to carry their biological child. Did they forget they’re rich?)
