DAYS Best Moments From October 27-31. A debut, a team-up, and a Halloween horror! 🎃 Don’t miss the best moments from this week on DAYS!
Days of our Lives had a little something for everyone this week, including a highly anticipated cast debut. Here’s a look at some of the most entertaining moments from October 27-31.
Key Takeaways
- The Kiriakis family was divided.
- Hank Northrop arrived in Salem.
- An unlikely alliance formed.
- Halloween fun ends with a dangerous game.
The Kiriakis Brothers Band Together
In a surprising turn of events, Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Xander (Paul Telfer) formed a united front against Maggie (Suzanne Rogers). The latter wanted to strip Xander of his power at Titan because of his beating up Philip.
Maggie got more than she bargained for when Philip stood by Xander and refused to send him to prison. We did not have this new Kiriakis brothers dynamic on our bingo card this year, but we are loving it.
A Full Circle Moment
For months, DAYS fans have been waiting for Hank Northrop to debut. Well, the wait is over! Abe (James Reynolds) finally met the man he’s tutoring. Liam (Northrop) has a chip on his shoulder and is filled with trouble.
Watching Abe and Liam was a treat for fans who watched Northrop’s father, Wayne Northrop (Roman), work with Reynolds back in the day. The history was strong as Northrop carries on his late father’s legacy.
As Soap Hub reported, Deidre Hall (Marlena) welcomed Northrop to the show, calling it a “full circle moment,” which is where we got our title for this moment.
Not So Different After All
Amy (Shi Ne Nielson) showing up at the DiMera mansion to read EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) the riot act was pure soap bliss. EJ gave as good as he got as these two not-so-great parents fought for their children.
In the end, though, a new alliance just might have been formed. It seems EJ may have forced Amy to see the light about both Sophia (Rachel Boyd) and Johnny (Carson Boatman).
Nielsen and Feuerriegel were beyond enjoyable to watch in EJ and Amy’s sparring match.
Halloween Tour Chaos Is A Nod To Salem History
Aaron (Louis Tomeo), leading a Halloween tour of Salem with Leo (Greg Rikaart) in attendance, was the drama break we needed. The tour featured tidbits of some of the crazier Salem moments, like Cassie (Alexis Thorpe) and Rex’s (Eric Winter) origin story.
Throwing annoying Adam (Timothy Hornor) in the mix was genius, especially when he brought up Marlena throwing Stefano (the late Joseph Mascolo) off the balcony, her possessions, and Stefano’s possibility of being alive.

It was so much fun to see some humor sprinkled into the show.
Danger Lurks In Town Square On Halloween
In the Friday cliffhanger, Rachel (Alice Halsey) got Thomas (Cary Christopher) riled up after they saw Chad (Billy Flynn) with Cat (AnnaLynne McCord). Channeling her inner DiMera, Rachel has some sort of evil plan that will no doubt go awry.
Thomas and Rachel may or may not have a carving knife, but they do have a pumpkin in a slingshot that Rachel is preparing to launch. This happens as Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) walks by, and someone holds the carving knife up in the air.
This was a reminder of a classic soap cliffhanger, and having the kids involved was fantastic.
We do have a couple of honorable mentions, which go to Aaron learning he is Baby Tesoro’s father, and also Tony (Thaao Penghlis) going missing for a hot second.
