crossover Marvel fans shocked as Coronation Street makes unexpected appearance in new show Wonder Man
FANS of the Marvel Cinematic Universe were left stunned after a shock crossover with soap opera Coronation Street.
Those who have tuned into the movie franchise’s latest hit offering, Wonderman, were taken aback when ITV show Corrie got an unexpected mention.

The show is an eight-part series on Disney+ and included a rather unexpected crossover with Weatherfield.
In the series, Ben Kingsley appears as the character of Trevor Slattery.
Fans will remember Trevor for being an actor who previously appeared in Iron Man 3 and Shang Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings.
In a scene from Wonder Man, Trevor is aiming to land the part of fictional film Wonder Man and during one scene finds himself speaking to a fellow actor named Simon Williams.

As they chat away, they stumble upon a set of VHS tapes which reads: “Coronation Street, episodes 616 – 619, 646 – 649.”
As such, Simon quizzes Trevor who recalls a stint appearing as Ron Jenkins on the show.
Recalling one of his lines, he said aloud: “A pint of bitter please and one for my friend”.
But this scene wasn’t entirely made-up.

It certified the fact that the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Coronation Street did exist within the same universe.

It is the latest soap crossover following the explosive Corriedale crossover between Coronation Street and Emmerdale.
