A BELOVED Coronation Street icon has been left fighting for their lives after a top secret horror car crash.
Bosses at the ITV soap pulled out all the stops to keep the big shock a complete secret ahead of today’s episode.

And the shocking scenes are set to spark a huge storyline for the character who has been on the cobbles for 27 years.
Viewers watching tonight will see Tyrone Dobbs be run over in a horror car crash.
But far from some soap car accidents that see the victims up and about within half an hour – this time Tyrone is seriously injured.
The speeding car – which appears to be driven by Dylan Wilson and Brody Michaelis on a job for Carl Webster – swerves and misses Betsy Swain but mows down Tyrone.
Carla Connor discovers him unconscious as the ambulance staff try to revive him to get him to hospital.
She told Fiz who rushed to hospital with Tyrone’s mum Cassie and their children.
Upon arrival a nurse told them that Tyrone was in a bad way.
“We’ve just had him taken down for a CT scan to check for internal bleeding,” she said.
Fiz spiralled as she realised how bad it all was, as Cassie tried to keep everyone upbeat and positive.
Meanwhile Kit Green found the car had been torched.

“Whoever did this knows how to cover their tracks,” he said.
Back at the hospital a doctor arrived to speak to Fiz but things weren’t looking good.
The shock storyline is set to run and run with bosses pulling off a rare coup on keeping it a secret.
And it wasn’t the only one in the episode with a huge return from the dead and a pregnancy bombshell also happening.
