BIG SURPRISE AHEAD!!! Coronation Street ‘to bring back fan-favourite from the dead’ 7 years after getting killed off
Recently, Tyrone found himself in a life-threatening situation after being hit by a car in a shocking hit-and-run incident. After being rushed to hospital, things took a dramatic turn for Tyrone.
Doctors discovered that Tyrone had a blood clot pressing against his spine and two fractured vertebrae. Furthermore, Tyrone was unable to feel his legs, causing immediate worry among his family and friends, reports the Daily Star.
This week, Tyrone underwent surgery which, despite being successful, led to warnings that it could take years for him to regain full sensation in his legs.
However, with more drama on the horizon, fans are speculating that the soap might bring back a former legend – Tyrone’s adoptive mother Jackie Dobbs (Margi Clarke).
Jackie first appeared as Tyrone’s unpredictable mother in March 1998 and caused quite a stir during her time in Weatherfield before departing in 1999. Corrie then brought Jackie back in 2008, with the character making sporadic appearances until 2010.
Jump ahead to July 2018, and police informed Tyrone that Jackie had passed away. But viewers are now speculating that Jackie might not actually be dead and could make a comeback, particularly given Tyrone’s current dramatic storyline.
On a Coronation Street Facebook fan page, one viewer posted: “Anyone remember Jackie Dobbs? I know she’s dead but they should bring her back.” Another responded: “She died off-screen didn’t she? Could be possible.”
A third added: “That would be a good return especially with everything that Tyrone is going though.” Someone else commented: “I’ve always thought we haven’t seen the last of her since she died off-screen.”
