BACK TO WORK Emmerdale star reveals career change months after being axed from the soap
EMMERDALE star Rachael Gill-Davis has revealed a new career months after her exit from the show.
Rachael starred as Gail Lowman in the ITV soap and made her first appearance as Ryan Stocksβ girlfriend in 2019.



Five months after leavingΒ Emmerdale, sheβs now teaching acting at MetFilm School Leeds.
Discussing her new role, Rachael said: βThe big thing is belief in themselves.
βSome drama schools can knock actors down.
βMetFilm encourages them. It lifts people up and helps them discover their own voices. That is why I love it.β

Rachael added: βYou walk in and it feels alive. Students are carrying booms and cameras down the corridors.
βYou can tell things are being created in every room. It is electric, challenging, open, creative and exciting.β
Following a brief appearance as Gail in Emmerdale in 2019, Rachael returned full-time in 2023.
Writing on social media at the time of her exit, Rachael said: βWellβ¦what a mad two years this has been.
βI want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has shown love and support for the character over these past two years.
