EMMERDALE star Rachael Gill-Davis has revealed a new career months after her exit from the show.

Rachael starred as Gail Lowman in the ITV soap and made her first appearance as Ryan Stocks’ girlfriend in 2019.

Five months after leavingΒ Emmerdale, she’s now teaching acting at MetFilm School Leeds.

Discussing her new role, Rachael said: β€œThe big thing is belief in themselves.

β€œSome drama schools can knock actors down.

β€œMetFilm encourages them. It lifts people up and helps them discover their own voices. That is why I love it.”

Rachael added: β€œYou walk in and it feels alive. Students are carrying booms and cameras down the corridors.

β€œYou can tell things are being created in every room. It is electric, challenging, open, creative and exciting.”

Following a brief appearance as Gail in Emmerdale in 2019, Rachael returned full-time in 2023.

Writing on social media at the time of her exit, Rachael said: β€œWell…what a mad two years this has been.

β€œI want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has shown love and support for the character over these past two years.
