AN Emmerdale actress has revealed when she’ll finally marry her soap co-star after being engaged for eight years.
Laura Norton, who has played her character Kerry Wyatt for 14 years, recently shared a candid insight into her relationship with her fiance Mark Jordon.



The soap stars first met when Mark joined the Emmerdale cast in 2014, playing the part of Laura’s future brother-in-law Daz Spencer.
Laura and Mark share two children together: son Jesse, 5, and daughter Ronnie, 3.
Despite building a family together, the pair’s marriage dream was pushed back but they may soon have their happily ever after.
Taking to Instagram, she said: “When you get engaged in 2018 and the world has other plans.

She also shared a sweet slideshow of throwback snaps of her and Mark.
In one snap, she showed off her glitzy engagement band, while others saw the pair enjoying time at the beach.
Fans were overjoyed by the news that the longtime couple could be set to walk down the aisle this year.

The actress recently gave fans an update after returning to social media following her 3st weight loss.
Laura admitted she hit a road block in her fitness journey due to perimenopause, which caused a ‘blip’ in her progress.
Sharing her update on Instagram, she wrote: “This is possibly an incredibly boring post for some. But a while ago I started a ’42 and Fit’ thread that a lot of followers invested in and showed an interest in and I keep getting messages asking how it’s going.
“I haven’t quit! I promise. And I want to show accountability with something that I started.”
The Emmerdale star got real with fans as she told them she experienced a “post partum hormone drop 2 years in a row” since having her two children, which has resulted in her becoming perimenopausal.
She added that the diagnosis, along with her demanding work schedule, has made it difficult to “factor in the time to exercise”.
