DEN DEAL? EastEnders star teases shock return six years after dramatic on-screen death
AN EastEnders star has teased a shock comeback to the soap – six years after his character’s on-screen death.
Just last month iconic Eastenders character Pat Butcher, played by Pam St Clement, made a brief comeback more than a decade after being killed off as part of Nigel Bates’ dementia storyline.

Now Bleu Landau – who starred as Dennis Rickman Jr – has insisted anything is possible when it comes to Soapland.
During an Instagram Q&A the actor, 20, was asked about a possible comeback.
He replied: “Well, obviously as you know if you did watch, Dennis died at the boat party for the 35th anniversary of EastEnders so it’d make it a little bit harder for me to come back.
“However, we know how the show goes, so we can never count it out, can we?”

Dennis – the son of Sharon Watts and Dennis Rickman – died during EastEnders’ 35th anniversary episode.
When a boat party on the Thames resulted in a crash, Dennis was locked in a room by Ian Beale and ended up drowning.
At the time of his exit, Bleu took to social media to share an emotional post about leaving EastEnders.
He wrote: “Dennis The Menace Rickman RIP, what an amazing 4 an arf years you’ve given me.
“222 episodes and an experience I will never forget! Big thanks to the cast and crew at @bbceastenders for all your help and support over the years, I have made some life long friends.
“Sad that it’s come to an end but now on to new beginnings and am excited to see what the future holds. Bleu.”
As well as Pat Butcher, recent years have seen the likes of Roxy Mitchell [Rita Simons] and Angie Watts [Anita Dobson] make brief returns from the dead.
Roxy returned as part of daughter Amy Mitchell’s imagination while Angie made a special appearance during the soap’s 40th anniversary celebrations.
