UNFORESEEN CONSEQUENCES!! Coronation Street’s Sally Carman-Duttine addresses Abi’s dramatic affair fallout
Coronation Street star Sally Carman Duttine has addressed a potential reunion between Abi and Kevin Webster after her explosive affair with his brother Carl was revealed.
Abi and Kevin tied the knot in 2021, but their relationship has been far from smooth, being rocked by several scandals and finally ending last year when her secret relationship with Carl was revealed.
The affair has torn the Webster family apart, and saw Abi and Carl shunned by several loved ones before splitting themselves, but could a reunion between Abi and Kevin be on the cards?
Speaking to The Mirror, Sally revealed: “I genuinely don’t know what they’ve got planned in the script. I don’t know if Abby and Kevin will get back together. I love working with Michael Le Vell, and I miss him, so as long as we’ll still have some scenes together – I’ll be okay.”
The star also opened up about what it’s like to work with her husband Joe Duttine, who plays Tim Metcalfe in the show.

Tim is currently married to Sally Metcalfe in the show, who once tied the knot with Kevin before they split in 2009 following his affair with Molly Dobbs.
She quipped about her co-star Sally Dynevor, who plays Sally in the show: “She’s helping me out. It’s one less thing I have to do. That sounds awful, doesn’t it? I love kissing my husband.
“Honestly, when you’re filming kissing scenes, it’s 25 sweaty men around you, burping and all that, you have the lights on you, time schedules, it’s the least sexy thing ever. You can kiss whoever you need to, it’s fine.”

She continued: “It’s awful. I don’t recommend it. I give him a wide berth because he makes me laugh, and once I’ve gone, there’s no getting it back, and there are tears, so it’s makeup retouching.
“I’m like, get it together, which makes it worse, and it’s awful. He does it on purpose, so then I’m fuming with him.”
