Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, February 5: Bad news

First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal a familiar situation. It seems Rafe and Ari Horton (Marissa Reyes) comfort Gabi following Rafe’s trip to Alamania. While it’s possible those tests came back and said Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) is gone, we think it’s more about something else.

Rafe learned Stefan was being held against his will and never actually left Gabi. She’ll be shocked, we’re sure. And might actually finally have some sympathy for Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) situation. It actually is perfect karma for the way she’s made Leo the villain in that tale, even though he had no control over it. Will this change things for her and Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier)? We’ll see.

Elsewhere, Tate helps Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) get through to Rachel Black (Alice Halsey). She didn’t seem to understand why she should stay away from Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd). So, we’re sure she’s still throwing a fit about that. We’ll see if Tate can give her some perspective on his experiences with Rachel and why it might not be a good idea to spend time with her.

Not that we think Tate’s some poor innocent victim, mind you. He helped make Sophia. But keeping secrets isn’t a good idea. Nor is getting too close to someone with a grudge against her family.

As for Sophia, she and Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) reconcile. We assume this is the work of the totally not a quack therapist that has handled things so well so far. And we’re also willing to bet this is a setup on Sophia’s part to set the stage for whatever revenge she has in mind. Which we’re sure will be missed as well. Bayview really isn’t impressing us lately…

Finally, Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate a busy day ahead for Rafe. First, obviously, he’s got to deal with the whole Gabi situation. But he’ll also question Kristen on Thursday, February 5. This will likely be about more than the DiMera kidnappings and what he learned in Alamania. We have a feeling he might just be willing to take Kristen up on her offer.
