SOAP SHOCK EastEnders legend making shock return as Christmas murder mystery twist is exposed
AN EASTENDERS legend is making a shock return to Walford to expose what really happened at Christmas.
The BBC soap is welcoming back Jake Moon with actor Joel Beckett reprises his role for a short stint.
The actor originally left the soap 20 years ago but made a shock return for a one-off appearance in 2024 when he reunited with Chrissie Watts for a drive through Walford.
Now next month will see his return for another – this time longer – stint.
Jake returns in search of answers about what really happened at Christmas after his now on-screen on/off lover Chrissie revealed her revenge plan against Zoe Slater.
Viewers know Chrissie manipulated Zoe’s daughter Jasmine into terrorising her – which culminated in Zoe being attacked by ex Anthony Trueman.

Zoe is currently in prison awaiting a murder trial – not knowing that Jasmine killed Anthony in an effort to protect her.
Instead she thinks Chrissie was responsible – and Jake’s return will see that be explored.
Jake will get more than he had bargained for when he learns a different version of events that leads him to question the woman he loves.
With his conscience weighing heavy, and with multiple versions of events to contend with, only time will tell if Jake will do the right thing for not only himself, but for the sake of his family.
On returning to EastEnders, Joel Beckett said: “It was really lovely to step back onto the Square after all this time and revisit Jake.
“Being back working alongside familiar faces, as well as some brilliant new ones, was a real joy and it was good to know that Jake had been out there, alive and well.
