EMMERWAIL Emmerdale reveals who killed Ray in brutal murder scenes – and it’s not who you’d expect
EMMERDALE has revealed who killed Ray Walters in the culmination of this week’s flashback episodes.
The villain – who is played by actor Joe Absolom in the ITV soap – was revealed to be dead at the beginning of the month.

His body was seen being dragged through the village on a tarpaulin before disappearing.
It later reappeared during the Corriedale crossover in Jai Sharma’s van – though he didn’t notice.
And now a series of flashback episodes have revealed Ray’s final hours.
The episode is now available to watch on both ITVX and YouTube.

He’d clashed with Marlon Dingle who was desperately trying to find his missing daughter April, and then got rejected by girlfriend Laurel Thomas.
She was horrified after learning the truth about Ray and sent him packing in tense scenes.
Her son Arthur then lashed out at Ray before stealing his bag of cash and drugs.
Meanwhile after making his shock return after faking his death, Graham Foster was summoned by ex Rhona to help in the search for April.
He attacked Ray and dragged him into the village hall, before being disturbed and being forced to flee.
Now in today’s episode, the truth has been revealed – and it is brutal.
Ray was confronted by Paddy after Dylan told him all about what Ray and Celia had done.
The vet was utterly devastated by the news that his dad Bear had been kept just minutes away but had died at Celia’s hands.
However his plan to force Ray to confess by force backfired and he had to retreat after Ray threatened his daughter Eve’s life.
But when Ray saw Dylan he dragged him into the cottage and attacked him, preparing to kill him.
Paddy swooped in to try to save Dylan, trying to hit Ray with a hammer – but he was over-powered.
Paddy screamed at Dylan to run while Ray was kicking him senseless on the floor, but as Ray decided to kill them both, they were all in for a shock when Bear walked in.
“Dad, help us,” Paddy cried as Ray told Bear to leave.

“Ted it’s Ray, I’m your only friend, remember he abandoned you, he doesn’t love you. Now go outside like a good boy. Go on. Now let’s finish this.”
But as Ray went to kill Paddy, Bear returned and put Ray in a chokehold.
“I just want it to to stop,” he said as he crushed the life out of Ray.
