Coronation Street has cleared up the pregnancy mystery about Megan Walsh amid her grooming of teen Will Driscoll.

Megan has been dating Daniel Osbourne as a cover for her grooming of Will, who hasn’t taken well the fact she and Daniel appear to be getting serious.

In recent scenes at Bertie’s birthday party, the kid mistakenly looked through Megan’s bag instead of Alya Nazir’s and pulled out a pregnancy test. Megan was annoyed with Daniel’s shocked reaction, subsequently lying about having bought the test for one of the girls at school.

After Tracy McDonald voiced her suspicions about Megan with Alya, Corrie has now revealed whether she’s pregnant or not.

In tonight’s episode, Daniel was stunned to find Ken Barlow’s car vandalised with an “anatomically correct” rude symbol.

“It’s probably one of my students,” he told an amused Gary Windass. “And I think I know which one.”

Will got suspended after a spray paint can was found in his locker. The teen swore he had nothing to do with it, pleading with his dad Ben to convince Daniel to lift the suspension or else he wouldn’t be able to compete in a big athletics championship.

Maggie, however, read through his lies, knowing that her grandson was responsible for the car being defaced. The teen sprayed Ken’s car thinking it was Daniel’s.

Later on, Ben begged Daniel to reverse the suspension.

“He’s new, he’s still trying to fit in,” Ben pleaded with the teacher as Megan confirmed the championship was “pretty major”.

She doubled down on an already on-the-fence Daniel, saying that if Will sat the tournament out, the school may not qualify for the next round and her job as coach could be on the line.

“Forget I said anything,” she then laughed it off, knowing full well that Daniel was considering helping her.

Later on, Will confronted Megan after he overheard the pregnancy test drama at the pub the previous day. She came clean about having had sex with Daniel despite her promise not to, and continued manipulating the teen.

In the final scenes, Megan was revealed to be pregnant as she booked an appointment for an abortion on the phone.

“I need to book an appointment for a termination,” she said as she looked over her shoulder.
