OMG SHOCKING!!! EastEnders’ Zoe plans abrupt exit after being confronted by her violent past
EastEnders is gearing up for the dramatic return of Zoe Slater (portrayed by Michelle Ryan) after she was accidentally shot by Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), leaving her in a critical condition.
As avid viewers of the BBC One soap will recall, Zoe recently made a surprise comeback to Albert Square and had an emotional reunion with her mum, Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace).
However, things took a turn for the worse when Jack and local drug dealer Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) got into a scuffle over a gun in the Square’s gardens, resulting in Jack unintentionally firing the weapon and hitting Zoe.
In a series of gripping flashbacks, it was also revealed that Zoe gave birth to twins back in 2006, had a romantic fling with Max Branning (Jake Wood), and believes she murdered a man named Greg.

In upcoming scenes, the fallout from Zoe’s shooting incident begins to unravel, and it doesn’t look promising, reports Plymouth Live.
On Monday (15th September), Zoe is still reeling from the shooting and the police soon confirm it wasn’t a deliberate attack.
The Slaters are overjoyed to have Zoe back home, but she quickly leaves and heads to the café, where her day takes another downward spiral.

She finds herself confronted by Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) about the death of her dad Den Watts (Leslie Grantham), prompting Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) and Anthony Trueman (Nicholas Bailey) to intervene.
Unwilling to let the topic of Den’s murder go, Vicki follows Zoe to The Albert where a confrontation ensues.
Later, Zoe heads back to The Vic and discovers that Freddie (Bobby Brazier) and Big Mo (Laila Morse) have spilled the beans about her shooting incident, which has made headlines in the local paper, potentially putting her in danger.

Shortly after, Zoe leaves a message for someone from her past, but who could it be?
As the week progresses, Zoe fears she’s put her family at risk, despite Kat and Anthony’s attempts to calm her down.
Overcome with fear, Zoe decides to pack her bags and leave, despite Stacey’s pleas for her to stay.
After finding out about Greg, Stacey seeks Jack’s help, but he declines to get involved.

Back at home, Zoe confesses that she had a physical altercation with Greg and fears he might be dead.
Uncertain of what’s happened, Stacey suggests they need to find out, leading them back to Greg’s house – is he alive or dead?
