TOP STAR Coronation Street line up stunning star as soap’s ‘new leading lady’ after she appears in most episodes of 2025
CORONATION Street are plotting to make a stunning actress the star face of their soap after she banked more episodes than any other cast member in 2025.
Vicky Myers made more single appearances than any of her fellow cast members on the ITV show last year after winning over audiences as DS Lisa Swain.

Lisa has been central to some of the programme’s biggest plots in 2025 and will also play a pivotal role in next week’s soap crossover, Corriedale.
Her success has now led Corrie chiefs to pinpoint her as their new leading lady and the flagship face of the show going forward.
Vicky appeared in a total of 184 episodes in 2025 making her the stand-out star of the year.
A source told The Sun: “Vicky has gone down a storm with Coronation Street fans as Lisa and her romantic partnership with Carla has been one of the biggest successes in recent years.

“Producers know they have struck gold with Vicky and don’t want to let her go.
“She was handed more episodes than any other cast member last year and there is no plans for any of that to slow down with those behind-the-scenes believing that Vicky could become an icon of the Street.
“They want to keep her at the heart of the soap and plan to make her the face of Corrie going forward.”
Vicky’s romance with Carla and the reveal that her former wife Becky was secretly still alive have been a major plot throughout the soap this year.
Second to Vicky this year was Gareth Pierce who clocked up 179 episodes as Todd Grimshaw largely thanks to the horrific domestic abuse storyline featuring him and partner, Theo Silverton.
Gareth shot into second place having ranked at 49th last year with his plot set to continue well into 2026.
