Back in town, Brick meets with Sonny at the restaurant office. Brick worked his magic, and the million dollars that will be found in the dead judge’s bank account will appear to have come from Drew Cain.

What’s Dalton’s Secret?

At the Baden Café, Emma brags to Gio that she’s so close to nailing Dalton. Dalton walks in, which Emma was expecting, as she’s been stalking him to get his schedule.

Emma heads over to see the professor at the counter and surprises him with a slice of pistachio cheesecake, which she knows he loves. She fills him in on all the work she’s done and asks what’s next. He has to let her in on a secret.

Meanwhile, Charlotte shows up and finds Gio to tell him what happened with Outback and Rocco. So far, she hasn’t found the missing dog.

Jason Wants Answers!

Jason walks into Anna’s office, where Carly is talking to the commissioner, and he informs Anna that they need to speak alone. Carly asks if this can wait, but Jason insists it can’t, and he’ll find her later.

Carly leaves, and Jason asks Anna how long she has known Joss was in the WSB. Relieved to learn Joss is safe, she admits she’s known about Joss for a few months and how she figured it all out. Jason insists that Anna should have told him, but she explains that she couldn’t, as Jack had threatened her with treason. That’s why she motivated him into Joss’ orbit. Jason calls what she did manipulation.

Anna knows Jason loves Joss, but she’s a grown woman now, and for whatever reason, she’s chosen this of her own free will.  Anna feels for Carly, who has been betrayed by Jack, who recruited her daughter. Jason says, “It sounds a lot like what you did to me.”

Anna can’t change what she did, and cries that keeping him in the dark wasn’t easy. Now that he knows everything, is he going to tell Carly?

Carly Interrupts a Meeting

Carly heads to Sonny’s office and is happy to see Brick. She then informs Sonny that Jason is back, and she just saw him in Anna’s office. Sonny asks what she was doing at Anna’s? Carly fills Sonny in on the threat she made against Drew and went to tell Anna before Drew could.

Brick says that was risky, and wonders if Carly’s covering for Michael. Does she think he shot Drew?

Carly says Michael isn’t a violent person, but Drew will make sure Michael goes down for his shooting, just so Willow gets her kids back.

Where Has Britt Been?

At the hospital, Liz uses smelling salts to revive Obrecht. Obrecht laughs that she thought she saw Britta. Britt appears and says it wasn’t a trick of her eyes. They help Obrecht up, and she rushes into her daughter’s arms.

Obrecht cries she’s dreamt of this moment, but how is this possible, and where has he been? Britt says they can discuss those questions later.

Dante intervenes and says it’s probably not the best idea for her to be here. Dante and Britt trade snide remarks, and Nina tells them to take a breather. Nina hugs her cousin and says they’ve missed her so much.

Lulu, meanwhile, asks Liz to keep Rocco in the exam room. Britt overhears and says, “Ben is here?”  Lulu says his name is Rocco, and Dante says he’s not Britt’s concern.

Obrecht and her daughter decide to go to the pharmacy and re-up her meds. Lulu stops them and says she’d like to be able to talk to Rocco about her return before he sees her. Britt jokes, “What, the child I brought into this world can’t see me? Fine, one night without my meds won’t kill me.”

Nina, Britt and Obrecht leave, and Lulu flips out on Dante about this turn of events. Dante says they must be upfront with Rocco and learn from their mistakes. Lulu can’t believe this is happening.

In an exam room, Lucas stitches Rocco up. Liz arrives to stall letting the boy go, per Lulu’s request. When Liz sees the coast is clear, Lucas sets Rocco free. Rocco walks out, and Lucas asks what that was about. Liz tells him to prepare himself. The Britch is back.

Lucas doesn’t think so, as she’s dead, and there was a body. Liz tells him to remember who her parents are. Lucas thinks he should call Brad, but Liz snatches his phone, as that’s the last thing he needs back in his life. She says Brad could already know and maybe be involved in Britt’s cover-up. He realizes she could be right.

In the hall, Rocco reconnects with his parents, and Dante suggests they get him home, as they have things to discuss.

Will Britt Reveal the Truth?

Nina, Obrecht, and Britt head to Nina’s place, and Nina says she’ll prepare the guest room for her. Obrecht still can’t believe her daughter is here.

Nina asks if she can tell them where she’s been and what she’s been doing all this time. Britt says it’s a long story, and she’ll get to it, but she’s exhausted after a long flight. Nina suggests they discuss it in the morning. Obrecht, however, refuses to wait another moment. It’s been two years, and she needs answers.

Britt explains she was approached about a research position before the attack. She took the job, so her mom didn’t have to watch her die. Nina asks if she’s saying the attack was staged? Britt says it was real, but her death wasn’t. Obrecht fumes at the idea that Britt staged her death, and she let her believe her daughter died in her arms.

 Dante and Lulu Prepare to Shock Rocco

Rocco, Lulu and Dante return to Lulu’s place. His parents say they need to talk, which is when Charlotte appears and asks if he found Outback. The boy hasn’t, and wants to put a notice on a lost pet app.

First, though, Dante and Lulu sit down with Charlotte and Rocco.  The parents break the surprising news that Britt is alive and  showed up at the hospital tonight. They don’t have any answers regarding her return. Rocco realizes she was there when he was, and they kept him from seeing her.

What Happens In Australia Doesn’t Stay There!

Joss and Vaughn come back from surfing at Bondi Beach in Australia. They head back to their cabin and immediately become passionate, hitting the bed.

Later, they engage in some pillow talk, and Joss brings up what happens when they return to the real world. Vaughn says they’ll have to be careful, and Brennan can’t know about this.

Suddenly, Brennen walks in, and they grab their guns and aim them at him before they realize who it is.

A furious Brennan gives Mr. and Mrs. Nash a minute and steps out. They dress, and he returns. Brennan lashes out at them and demands to know everything that happened at the resort, starting with Britt.

Joss explains she knows Britt, and she thought they could use Britt to get intel, but their cover was blown. Brennan says that was by Colette. Joss realizes that is how they knew about the black box. Jack is shocked they aren’t dead and asks how they escaped. Joss admits Jason saved them.

In the Show’s Final Moments

In Sonny’s office, Brick asks if Michael has an alibi. Carly doesn’t know, so Brick says he’ll see what he can do about one. They all agree they must protect Michael from the fallout of Drew’s incoming accusations, and Carly quips that they’d all be better off if Drew were dead. Sonny says that soon, Drew’s word will be worthless. Carly looks puzzled.

In Australia, Brennan his agents why Jason was there?? Joss guesses it has something to do with Britt, as they were once involved. Jason found them in the process and saved their lives. Jack is furious that they risked their lives, defied his orders and have nothing to show for it. Or do they?

At the café, Dalton receives a call that something is arriving tonight, and he says he’ll pick it up. She asks if he needs her help, but he says he can manage on his own. He says tomorrow everything will be revealed. She asks what that secret is that he mentioned? He tells her they use sheep’s milk in the lates here, which is why they taste so good.

Emma returns to Gio and thinks she finally has Dalton where she wants him. She assumes the shipment is new animals to test on. Gio hates to rain on her parade, but Outback is missing. Oh no, is poor Outback in Dalton’s lab?

In Anna’s office, Jason reveals that he can’t tell Carly as he promised Joss. Anna asks what happened over there? Jason tells her to ask her friend Jack if she wants answers and storms out.

At home, Rocco asks his mom what happened. Lulu says he was with the doctor when Britt showed up, and she left with Obrecht and Nina to work things out as a family. Lulu tells Rocco they need to take things slow regarding Britt’s return. The boy says, “Yeah, sure.”

Finally, at Nina’s, Britt explains she was in on faking her death, as she didn’t want her mom to watch her waste away. Obrecht is furious with her for playing God. Britt says, “And where did I learn that from?” Britt says she did this for her. Obrecht calls her a liar and slaps her daughter.

On the next General Hospital, Britt lashes out at her mother, and Drew asks Martin for help.
