AN EMMERDALE legend has dropped a huge hint she may be dying soon in today’s episode.

The ITV soap will be rocked by death in the coming month as the show crossover with sister soap Coronation Street for the CorrieDale event.

With at least one death coming, everyone – even legends – are at risk.

And tonight there seems to have been a big hint at who it could be.

Soaps regularly drop in small easter eggs about upcoming storylines with foreshadowed moments.

Characters about to die often talk about their longterm exciting plans, or sometimes their deaths are predicted in a small way.

In today’s episode Kim Tate decided to talk about her plans for her vast fortune once she’s dead – by telling best pal Lydia Dingle that she’s leaving Home Farm to her.

“I wasn’t going to tell you this so as not to spoil our friendship, but I’ve left you Home Farm in my will,” she said.

Explaining further, she told her: “Lydia, you don’t have to look so horrified. It’s really not that outrageous.

“There’s plenty of money to go round and my will provides for them all – even Will. Gabby has The Hide and I’ve set up an extremely generous trust for all the grandkids.

“It’s a home – that’s its value to me, more than any money. I’m not asking your permission Lydia. You will inherit this house, along with an appropriate annual allowance to maintain it.

“You can do with it what you choose. Fill it with Dingles. Bring Esther back. More than anything, stop working so hard.

“You have no idea of your value, have you? You’re just going to trust my judgement because I’ve never met anyone more deserving.”

The touching scene could have devastating consequences for Kim – will she die?
