RUMBLED Coronation Street villain Becky Swain to ‘get even WORSE’ but will get comeuppance in crossover special, reveals star
CORONATION Street villain Becky Swain is all set to “get even worse” before getting her comeuppance in the CorrieDale special crossover.
The character has been wreaking havoc on the lives of ex-wife DC Lisa Swain and Carla Connor over the last few months and it looks like her behaviour is set to be ramped up a notch in upcoming scenes.

Coronation Street and Emmerdale are uniting for an epic-crossover called CorrieDale and Becky will be front and centre of the action-packed episode.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun at the CorrieDale screening last night, actress Amy Cudden, who plays Becky, teased what’s to come for her character in the special offering.
She divulged: “I can tease that I’m up to no good but it won’t unfold the way you think it will. You can see me reach peak villain.”
When asked just who will be the one to take Becky down, Amy teased: “I think villains are always taken down by a team.

“I think something has to happen, there have to be consequences because someone that’s this evil and awful, can’t just swan off into the sunset.
“I can say that there will be consequences, who those consequences favour, I’m going to leave to your imagination.”
Becky was brought back from the dead, four years after being killed by a getaway car while working in the line of duty.
Following her supposed death, Lisa and her daughter Betsy moved to Weatherfield and she struck up a romance with Carla.
In scenes that aired in September, Becky reappeared and was very much alive, much to the shock of her ex-wife.
She’s since caused chaos by using her return to tear up Lisa’s relationship with Carla, as well as making Lisa and her daughter Betsy believe they’re in danger and trying to get them to move to Spain with her.

Her reign of terror went a step further when she attacked her former police boss, DI Costello in a bid to stop him from revealing the truth about her fake death, which he had helped her carry out.
However, when he finally woke up from his coma, he alerted Carla to Becky being his attacker and gave her a cryptic clue in the form of “Rhubarb Hill”.
Recent episodes showed Becky attempting to Kill Costello in the hospital with a syringe to prevent him from being able to expose her.
As she cottoned on to her love rival’s manipulative actions, Carla left for a trip to Lanzarote.
But Lisa is left shaken after realising Carla never checked into her hotel and has now vanished.
It remains to be seen just what has happened to Carla and if Becky is behind her disappearance.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV, STV, ITVX and STV Player. CorrieDale will air on January 5 at 8pm.
