Days of our Lives The Rinse November 25: We Have 3 Questions, Salem

While watching the November 25 episode of Days of our Lives, we were struck by three questions about life in Salem. Let’s see if we can do some independent learning and figure the answers out for ourselves.

Key Takeaways

  • Can Chanel and Johnny not afford a nanny?
  • Why did Brady tell Belle anything?
  • Is Sophia’s hospital room open to the public?

Rich Dad, Poor Dad

Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Johnny (Carson Boatman) are SO TIRED. They can’t stop telling people HOW TIRED they are. They are NEW PARENTS. Did you know that NEW PARENTS are TIRED? Oh, woe is them. Please, everybody, tell them how awesome they are for doing something that humans have been doing since the dawn of time.

You know what else humans have been doing since the dawn of time — namely, humans whose fathers are billionaires and whose mothers are elected royalty? They get other people to watch their babies temporarily.

Chanel was perfectly delighted to hand little Trey over to Stephanie (Abigail Klein) and Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) for a short bit. Why exactly can rich Chanel and the equally richer Johnny not hire a babysitter? Or a night nurse?

Loose Lips Sink Ships

Brady (Eric Martsolf) was horrified to hear from Rachel (Alice Halsey) that she shot EJ (Dan Feuerriegel). He doesn’t know what to do. So why did he go running to Belle (Martha Madison) before he had a plan in mind?

Why not talk to Rachel’s psychiatrist? Why not come up with an ask BEFORE putting his sister, the District Attorney, on the spot? This could have waited indefinitely. Heck, considering who Rachel is, she may have retracted her confession two minutes later, and then Brady wouldn’t have had a problem!

Passing Through

Sophia (Rachel Boyd) is in a mental facility, right? Those usually — hopefully — have quite a bit of security. People can’t just drop by. We assume Amy (Shi Ne Nielson) is closely monitoring Sophia and signing off on who can or cannot visit and/or upset her.

So, where does Aaron (Louis Tomeo) get off inviting random people to visit, like it’s up to him? First, he brought Ari (Marissa Reyes), and now Tate (Leo Howard)? Do they want to check with Sophia’s doctor first? Is this a good idea for her recovery? Oh, who cares about Sophia? Tate certainly never did before…
