General Hospital’s Nancy Lee Grahn and Jen Ray Support Cameron Mathison

‘He’s So Mean… He Made Me Cry’: General Hospital Stars Playfully Weigh In On Their ‘Villainous’ Castmate

It’s always fun when daytime stars give us a peek into their fun behind the scenes and that’s exactly what General Hospital’s Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) did recently. The ABC soap vet posted a video on her official Instagram that featured a cute conversation with the actress who plays her assistant Suzanne, Jen Ray, and Cameron Mathison (Drew).

The “scene” started with Grahn and Ray standing in a hallway at the studio and as the actress looked at a script, Mathison appeared and informed the ladies that he was going to order some coffee and lunch and wanted to treat them. They both thanked him and after he headed off to place their regular orders, Grahn’s facial expression when from happy to disgusted in heartbeat.

“He is so mean,” Grahn stated, to which Ray agreed, “He doesn’t even want to go over lines with us.” After Grahn recalled how he once made her cry, Ray added, “And they cast him in Christmas movies?” However, on the flipside, Grahn expressed, “But he is handsome.” Of course, the scene was all in fun and Mathison jumped into the comments to relay,” So mean. Love you guys.”

The “mean” reference likely is playing off of a post made by Mathison earlier in the week when some very rude comments about him affected his daughter Leila deeply. Many of the actor’s castmates rushed to defend him, as he urged fans to be careful with their words.

So, this is just a cute reminder that Mathison is much-loved by his castmates even though his character may not be one of their characters’ faves.
