SHOCKING TWIST!!! Coronation Street’s Fiz makes sudden show exit – but there’s an unexpected twist
Coronation Street‘s Fiz Dobbs will make a sudden exit from the cobbles next week, leaving injured Tyrone to take care of the house. But is she being truthful about her departure, or could the couple be headed for a difficult conversation?
Things have been tense at the Dobbs house in recent weeks, following Tyrone’s horrific accident. The mechanic was hit by a speeding car – driven by Dylan Wilson and Brody Michaelis – and has been using a wheelchair while he regains his full mobility.
Tyrone’s injury has forced Fiz to single-handedly manage work and household chores for the family of four. But as she struggles with her ever-growing list of responsibilities, yet another family emergency arises.
In scenes that will air next week, an exhausted Fiz tells Tyrone that she’s worried about Cilla as she has to undergo a sudden operation. After learning that there’s no one to take care of Cilla during her recovery, Tyrone urges Fiz to go and help.

He assures his wife that he can cope without her for a few days, despite the recent feud between their daughters Hope and Ruby.
With Fiz gone, Tyrone focuses on his own recovery and is driven to his physiotherapy appointment by his mum Cassie. Will his additional workload help or hinder his progress?

Elsewhere, while delivering pizzas to the hotel for Debbie Webster’s choir practice, Chesney makes a shocking discovering. He notices Fiz in the reception and wonders why she’s not at Cilla’s.
Could Fiz have told a little lie to gain some respite? And how will Tyrone react when he learns the truth?
“Fiz has been pushed to the limit recently, having to look after Tyrone, the kids and the house,” our insider says. “The news about Cilla is the last thing she needs, but Tyrone insists that she should be the priority. But why is she then spotted at the hotel?”
