YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS! When is Coronation Street on again as pivotal episode is dropped from schedule?

Coronation Street fans are going to have to wait a few days longer for the fallout of Monday night’s huge twist, as the ITV soap has been taken off air this evening.

Viewers are still reeling from the last episode of the Manchester-based soap, which saw Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) rushed to hospital after a hit and run, Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) announce her pregnancy and Becky Swain (Amy Cudden) return from the dead.

Just an average Monday night on the cobbles.

It was a dramatic 18th birthday for Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin), who witnessed the stolen car smashing into Tyrone, and that’s without knowing that her dead mum made an appearance.

Poor Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) got the fright of her life when she expected fiancé Carla Connor (Alison King) to walk in, only to come face to face with a ghost.

Unfortunately, fans have a few more days to wait to find out how Lisa will react to Becky’s resurrection, and find out the truth about Becky’s absence all these years.

When is Coronation Street on again?

Coronation Street will be back on screens at the usual time of 8pm on ITV1 on Friday, September 12.

It will also be available to watch on ITVX from 7am the same day.

It is set to be a jam-packed episode, as Carla returns to No.6 to find Lisa demanding answers from Becky.

Elsewhere, Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) assures George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) that he’s mistaken when the undertaker reveals that he saw him driving the car that knocked down Tyrone.

When Dylan then calls Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard), he is forced to come clean to Abi Webster (Sally Carman) about Dylan and Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) working for him.

With David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) still stunned after Shona’s pregnancy admission, will they be able to keep the secret under wraps?

Thankfully, schedules return to normal next week, with viewers set to get their usual three hour-long instalments on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and there is no sign of the drama slowing down.

Still reeling from the bombshell that her wife is still alive, Lisa confronts DI Costello (Daon Bruni) demanding answers.
