SHE’S BACK Glam EastEnders star returns for explosive Christmas storyline as Zoe Slater’s rival amid row over Dirty Den’s murder

BBC ‘doctored’ Trump speech by making him appear to encourage 2021 Capitol Hill riot, according to leaked memo

Ben Wadey, EastEnders’ executive producer, added: “It’s no secret that wherever Sam Mitchell goes, drama inevitably follows, and with ex-accomplice Zoe Slater back in the Square, only time will tell if there is space for forgiveness between the pair, or whether battle lines will be drawn.”

The murder of Den Watts was a huge storyline for the 20th anniversary of the BBC soap in 2005, involving Sam, Zoe and the real killer, Den’s wife Chrissie Watts.

The trio conspired to get revenge on Den, after he swept Zoe up in a blackmail plot and conned Sam into sex.

The women confronted him in the Queen Vic pub and when Den attacked Chrissie, Zoe intervened and struck him on the back of the head with a dog-shaped doorstop.

But after Sam and Zoe left, Den regained consciousness and grabbed Chrissie who then struck him again.

Sam secretly witnessed this final blow, but Zoe was left believing she was the killer.

Chrissie successfully framed Sam, who was charged with the murder before fleeing the country while out on bail.
