A FORMER EastEnders star shared a first look as he joins Coronation Street for a dramatic new Rover’s Return plot.
Irish actor Aidan O’Callaghan, 36, appeared in EastEnders during 2022 – for a very harrowing storyline.
He’s now switched Albert Square for Weatherfield and gave fans a sneak peak of what’s to come on his social media.
Taking to Instagram, he shared snaps of himself outside Coronation Street’s iconic Rovers’ Return pub, ahead of his debut on the soap.
He captioned: “Who dis?”
One follower commented: “Can’t keep that man away from a good bar! Excited to watch…”

Aidan is joining Coronation Street for a storyline involving the newly-arrived Driscoll family.
Bohemian Rhapsody star Aaron McCusker plays new Rovers landlord Ben, who is the husband of Eva Price aka a returning Catherine Tyldesley.
The couple are back on the cobbles with Father Ted’s Pauline McLynn as Ben’s opinionated mother, Maggie.
The Sun revealed that the Aidan would be portraying a newcomer named Alan.

A Cobbles source said: “He is in one episode in flashback scenes, where we find out some of the family history from way back when Ben and his brother were children.
“He’s just a guest artist but it’s a really unique episode.”
During his EastEnders stint, Aidan played twisted recurring character Lewis Butler.
Brought in as the dashing new bar manager of The Prince Albert, Lewis befriended Callum Highway and Ben Mitchell, where he mentioned he’d been out and proud since he was thirteen.
Ultimately, something more than friendship began to develop between Lewis and Ben.
However, Ben wasn’t single and therefore turned down Lewis’ advances after a night drinking.
In heartbreaking scenes, Lewis became angry and pinned Ben down and despite Ben saying no, Lewis raped Ben.
The next day Ben confronted Lewis, accusing him of rape, but Lewis completely denied it.
After the truth came to light, Kathy fired him and ordered Lewis out of Walford.
Later, when Lewis returned to the square, the Mitchell family kidnapped him and held him at gunpoint.
Ben forced a confession out of Lewis before he let him go and reported him to authorities.

A year later, despite not facing justice for his crime, Ben heard that Lewis had been charged with sexual assault on another man.
Aiden’s previous screen credits also include Wolfe, The Rook, The Witcher: Blood Origin and the award-winning film A Simple Killing.
