In tonight’s episode, April continues to relive the traumatic events of her meeting with the predatory Callum, who she hit over the head and seemingly killed as he tried to force himself on her.
Her dark thoughts are interrupted by Dylan, who is returned to the village alive – albeit badly bruised. When the pair hug, Dylan winces in pain and reveals his nasty injuries to his shocked girlfriend.

“It wasn’t just me. They had another lad there. He crossed them, too,” he shares about the attack. “He got a beating first, then… they made me watch. They nearly killed him, April.”
“When they came for me after that, I thought I were finished,” he continues, before adding that they “eventually” let him go. “Then sent me all over, dropping off a load of gear. I’ve hardly stopped.”
Dylan notices April getting upset and asks her if something happened while he was gone. But though Dylan pushes her for the truth, April decides not to reveal the incident with Callum and assures him she’s just upset about his ordeal.

Their conversation is interrupted by Ray, who tells the pair he had to send Dylan “a message” after his betrayal. He hands the teen a phone, ordering him to complete another job for him.
Later, Ray summons April to the footbridge alone, before pulling a gun out of his glovebox and hiding it under his belt. When April arrives she tells him she didn’t mention Callum to Dylan, but is struggling to cope with her actions.
Ray encourages her to talk to him about her worries as he is “an accomplice” in the situation. But when a frantic April considers handing herself into the police, Ray’s nasty side rears its head and he demands she keeps quiet by threatening her with the gun.
“I don’t wanna use this, April. It’s a warning this time. Next time, I will have no choice. I will shut you up for good,” he snarls.
