Days of our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, September 10, suggest that Belle, still smarting from breaking up with EJ, might be gravitating toward Shawn — once again.

Belle and Shawn’s Complicated History Resurfaces

Belle (Martha Madison) made it very clear to EJ that they were dunzo. She doesn’t love him. She never loved him. Pay no attention to anything she might have said or done more than once in the past. Belle did, however, at one point in her life, love Shawn (Brandon Beemer).

Sure, they’re divorced. But they’ve been divorced before. Belle already told Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) she doesn’t want to relive their high school past… or their marriage. But does that apply to Shawn, too?

Julie and Maggie Find Comfort After Loss

Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) husband died. She is sad. Maggie’s (Suzanne Rogers) husband died. She is also sad. They are sad together. Julie thinks one way to get over being sad might be to buy a bookstore. Will Maggie join her? And will it do the trick for them both?

Marlena and Kayla Discuss Life After Grief

Meanwhile, Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) husband is also dead, and she is also sad. But instead of looking for a new job, Marlena has taken a leave of absence from her old one. She touches base with Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) about what she’s supposed to do with her life now.

Stephanie Challenges Steve’s Choices

Stephanie (Abigail Klein) believes in following the rules and doing the right thing—unless it applies to someone she cares about, in which case she is perfectly fine with pulling strings and looking the other way. Stephanie also expects her dad, Steve (Stephen Nichols), to be above board and upstanding, unless it applies to someone she cares about. And she makes this clear to him.

Theo Returns to Salem With Abe and Paulina’s Support

Theo is back in Salem, and Abe (James Reynolds) is committed to supporting his son, Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews). Paulina (Jackée Harry) is, too. Now that her precious Chanel (Raven Bowens) doesn’t want Momma fixing her life for her, good thing she has a newly returned stepson to fuss over!
