1. Eve’s mum lands in Walford

It’s no secret that Eve has a fractured relationship with her family, given their homophobic views and the untimely death of her twin sister, Erica. But now that Eve and Suki need a reference from Eve’s mum, Norma, to go ahead with their adoption plans, the couple prepare for a visit from her.

Nervous, Eve greets her mum, before she and Suki explain to Norma that they are hoping to adopt, and that they need a reference.

After some initial doubt, Norma eventually agrees to go ahead.

Will Norma provide the glowing reference that Suki and Eve are looking for?

2. Phil feels furious

Having returned to Walford, Phil is livid to hear about Nigel’s circumstances following the car crash. In fact, the Mitchell man even goes as far to claim that Julie is responsible for the mess that Nigel is in.

However, a conversation with Jack leads Phil to realise that he’s been too harsh on his best mate’s wife, so he recruits his lawyer, Ritchie, to help sort things out.

Can Ritchie save the day?

3. Alfie reveals his thoughts

As Kat tries to support Zoe, Alfie claims that there has been no foul play for the family to worry about. Next, Zoe meets with her private investigator, before Freddie reveals that her cat has gone AWOL.

As Zoe searches for her beloved pet, Vicki mocks her efforts, while Anthony does his best to make amends with his ex-girlfriend.

Once back at The Vic, Zoe, Kat and Alfie are mortified to find that someone has defaced precious family photos belonging to the Slaters.

4. Kojo vows to save Harry

With Gina out of hospital, George finds it difficult to hide his concern for missing Kojo. To make matters worse, George is terrified to discover that Phil never permitted Kojo or Harry to take time off work.

Meanwhile, Okie forces Kojo to help with his drug operation, just as his concern for Harry reaches new heights.

When Kojo next steals a private moment with Harry, he reveals that he intends to help him flee the flat. Can Kojo successfully rescue his best friend?

5. Zoe makes a confession

Following her discovery at the pub, Zoe continues to feel stressed. As a result, Kat takes action to help her daughter, by selling her share of the limo business to Harvey.

Afterwards, Kat and Zoe receive an update from the private investigator about the search for Zoe’s son.

But when Alfie grows suspicious after a chat with the twins, Zoe is forced to admit that she defaced the family photos herself…

6. Teddy admits the truth

Intent on finding Harry, Teddy tells George and Junior what he knows about Kojo’s flat. Naturally, George goes to ring the police, but Teddy makes the point that Kojo could be arrested for his involvement.

At the same time, Kojo locates the key to set Harry free, but it turns out that his pal is not strong enough to walk. Knowing this, Harry tells reluctant Kojo to flee before Okie arrives back.

Will Kojo make a run for it while he still can?

7. Eve backs out of her plan

Despite Suki and Eve’s efforts to impress, Norma’s visit doesn’t work out as they would have liked. Soon, Norma questions Eve’s ability as future mum, which leads her to tell Suki that she doesn’t want to adopt after all.

As Suki turns to Lily for help, can they convince Eve to change her mind?

8. Kat calls a meeting

After her shock revelation, Zoe pleads with Kat while also promising that she was only behind the defaced photographs and nothing else.

Subsequently, Freddie attempts to support his cousin, but Zoe is preoccupied by a text from an unknown number that claims to have her cat.

Zoe rushes to update Kat and Alfie, but the couple are unsure about the legitimacy of her claims.

Later in the week, Kat worries for her daughter’s psyche, so holds a meeting with both Zoe and Anthony. Unfortunately, Zoe sees through their efforts, then causes another scene at the Vic that evening.

9. Nicola is dumped

Nicola puts effort into making amends with George, but the ex-boxer ultimately decides to end their relationship.

It’s upsetting for Nicola, but things become even worse when she makes an unexpected discovery.

What could it be?

10. Nigel faces reality

As the car crash continues to loom over him, Nigel realises that he could be going to prison. Loyal as ever, Phil and Julie accompany Nigel to his medical assessment, which he must undergo in relation to being charged.

Is it only a matter of time before Nigel is put behind bars?

11. Anthony raises suspicion

After feeling wary of Anthony’s secretive behaviour, Patrick and Kim learn that their loved one has won a permanent job at the doctors’ surgery.

Although, Anthony later makes a private phone call, which indicates that all isn’t as it seems. What could he be hiding?
