Last week, we commented on Ari (Marissa Reyes) and Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) randomly running into each other, sharing coffee and a couple of laughs. What was that all about, we wondered. A chemistry test? Could The Powers That Be be planning on putting the two together as a couple? We don’t hate it.

Loathe at First Sight

Tony (Thaao Penghlis) told Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) that instead of giving her DiMera Enterprises to run like he’d promised, he was giving the job to his nephew. Gabi was furious. Theo instantly assumed it’s because he’s autistic. (Does Gabi even know that about him? When would she have found out? Why would anybody have mentioned this fact to her?) Gabi pointed out that he had no experience. Does he even know what DiMera Enterprises makes? (And if he does, could he tell us? Because we have no idea.)

Theo assured her he had it all under control. Sure. Why not? Who needs demonstrated competence when it comes to running a company that presumably thousands of people depend on for their livelihoods? It’s more important that a rich, nepo baby feel good about himself. So get lost, Gabriella.

So Theo and Ari clicked immediately, and Theo and Gabi are already clashing. And we know what fighting leads to. Uh-ha. Exactly. Theo and Ari… Theo and Gabi… This could be very interesting. And really soapy. Mother and daughter fighting over the same man.
