Coronation Street‘s Catherine Tyldesley has excited fans with some behind-the-scenes snaps, ahead of her return to the soap.

The actor will soon be reprising her role as Eva Price, after seven years away from the cobbles. Former barmaid Eva will be returning as the landlady of the Rovers Return, with her new family in tow.

Eva will also be bringing back her daughter Suzie, Ben’s two sons, and a suitcase full of secrets.

Though we don’t know exactly when the family will be arriving, Tyldesley has teased fans with some behind-the-scenes pictures, captioned: “Eva’s been Diva-ing.”

The post, shared on Instagram yesterday, sees the actor in costume as the new landlady. If her fierce red blazer is anything to go by, Eva will be ready for business as soon as she steps foot on the cobbles.

Fans were delighted to receive a mini update ahead of Tyldesley’s return and flocked to the comment section to share their excitement.

“Gonna be great to see Eva back, she has definitely been missed,” wrote one, while another echoed: “So looking forward to Eva being back.”

The Driscolls will be taking over the Rovers from its latest owner Carla Connor. However, with the pub currently being managed by Glenda Shuttleworth, will the handover go smoothly?
